Sunday Morning Music 4/18/2021

The new Sunday Morning Music playlist is up on Spotify! This week’s features include Daryl Coley with Wilmington Chester Mass, Benny Cummings Singers, Della Reese featuring Merry Clayton, Professor Iris Stevenson featuring Duranice Pace, James Hall, and more! Don’t miss it!!!

The majority of this week’s selections are culled from brand new reissues by Malaco Music Group from the historic Atlanta International Records catalog.  Thank you Malaco for making so many of these long-lost, out-of-circulation releases available again!  I was particularly excited to see the Della Reese and Brilliance album available again.  Hearing the great Della Reese with two of the most underrated vocalists of our time, Vermettya Royster and Merry Clayton is a joy.  Congrats to Ms. Clayton on her brand new Motown Gospel release, Beautiful Scars!

I’d love to hear what your favorites are from this week’s playlist!  Feel free to comment and share with me.  I’m excited to have this space to talk about the greatest music in the world–gospel!
