Who We Are

CULTURAL WORKERS

Imagination Fury Arts is an alternative media partnership of artists, historians, researchers, and producers. We are cultural workers, filmmakers, designers, humanists, spiritualists, seekers, and visionaries who believe that stories matter, especially the stories of those whose narratives (and counternarratives) have been excluded from the canon.

What We Do

AMPLIFY THE UNSUNG

We preserve stories of historical, political, and cultural significance that are illuminating, transformative, educational, and revolutionary. We work to uncover the untold accounts that we believe are worth investigating, seeking opportunities to amplify the voices of those who have made an imprint but are otherwise unsung, whose legacies deserve to be remembered.

In coalition with these voices, we produce media through whatever means the particular story we are raising requires, be it books, musical recordings, films, radio programming, podcasts, or other web content.

NEW NOVEL OUT NOW

From the racial tensions of 1960s America to the seamy underbelly of London, Elizabeth Cunningham’s new thriller offers a vivid flashback of a tumultuous era and a window into a surprising and magical reality.

Who We’re For

SEEKERS

Our works are for curious minds who have ears to hear and seek understanding of what comprises the building blocks of the larger cultural narrative. We give priority positioning to those belonging to historically marginalized groups (i.e. women, Black people, LGBTQIA people, activists, etc.), and invite souls who are ready and willing to partake of media that challenge existing dominant narratives.

“That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex; you have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”

“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
